What's for dinner: Swedish Meatballs
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 Cup fine bread crumbs
1 egg
2/3 Cup milk
1/4 Cup finely chopped onion (I use 3 Tbsp dried onions as my family hates the texture of raw onions)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 10 1/2oz can cream of mushroom soup
Combine all ingredients, except soup. Form into small balls. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet in oven at 350 for thirty minutes, turning half way through. Place meatballs in 13 X 9 inch, lightly greased casserole. Dilute soup with 1/4 cup water. Pour mixture over meatballs. Bake at 325 for 1 hour or 375 for 1/2 hour. Simply delish! (serve over sticky rice or rice pilaf)
