Awesome Journal Wrap

What a great idea. This is exactly what I needed for my sketchbook. Shouldn't be too difficult to make. I'll post my finished project here.

Okay, here's my first attempt. Instead of a sketchbook setup, I decided my watercolor stuff would get one first. I ordered a pen-like eraser that will fit much better than the white vinyl eraser I've got shoved in there now. The black two inch elastic was available at Hancock for $1.99/yard so I purchased five yards. That will be enough to play around with. I'm thinking something like this would be cool for crochet hooks or knitting needles. I have a three ring binder with patterns and that might be a good place for a wrap to hold my knitting needles... This was fun, I'll post more as I make them. ;)
