Some inspiration

Now I just need to buy some faux zebra skin/fur for a throw on the ottoman, and to recover my snack bar stools with. More updates to come. I need some sort of rug to ground this area too...hmmm.

Here's the zebra print blanket. It's pretty big so doesn't drape over the ottoman very well. I'd prefer to have some fake zebra fur cut into a pelt-like shape draped over it. Or a fake animal "pelt" rug under as a rug. I'll do the red next as it matches the bar cushions so well...Notice Ruby in each photo. She's such a princess, every time I fold a blanket and put it down somewhere, she thinks I was doing it for her and immediately jumps up on it. Too funny.

This might be too much red. I like red with brown, and zebra with brown, but not sure how I feel about both. I think I like the zebra chairs and the animal rug the most in my inspiration picture. I need some color because my house is all browns and greens. And because the house is so open, what I do in one place has to look good from the other rooms as well. I'm wigging. What to do? My deck furniture cushions are red and can be seen everywhere from inside the house in the summer. But they're a different red. This open floor plan is awesome, but sure creates decorating problems.
